The Swiss Pharmaceutichal Company we are partnering with in this recruitment path, develops and manufactures Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs).
We are now looking for a:
Business development manager for the US East Coast area
Responsibilities:
Responsible for prospecting, evaluating, and managing strategic business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances, as well as marketing activities in the chemical manufacturing business for Key Account customers on the East Coast in U.S.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Scientific areas
- MBA represents a preferred qualification
- At least 5 years experience in business development in the chemical_pharmaceutical_biotech industry
- Strong and proven success in developing partnership, relationships within the pharmaceutical_biotech industry, with the ability to research, evaluate and create proposals
- High skilled in contracts, trade market, patents
- Proven track within both Swiss and USA market
- Cross functional career path within production, supply chain, regulatory departments is valuable
- Ability to effectively interact with high level decision makers
- Focus on achieving goals and great aspiration to grow
- Closer personality
- Proficiency in English and Italian
- Belonging or membership in main chimical_pharma public associations is preferred
- Willingness to travel worldwide
Main tasks:
- Screen and identify tangible business opportunities
- Develop a network of partnership relationships, and propellers
- Increase the presence of the Company within the most relevant trade unions
- Draft, negotiate and finalize project proposals
- Collaborate in developing the sales forecast for East Coast clients
- Support marketing-related activities
- Promotional activities and advertising (brochures, catalogues, participation in fairs and/or conferences)
- Act as Project Manager for all Key Accounts
Location: To be agreed. Remote working can be considered.
